Art Historian | Educator | Arts Writer
Hello there, and welcome to my site! I am an art historian, educator, and arts writer. My research focus is modern art history, and I recently completed my dissertation on modern Italian murals created during the fascist era (1930s and 1940s). I graduated with my Ph.D. from Florida State University in December 2022.
I am an Assistant Professor of Humanities at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) in Overland Park, KS where I teach on the humanities, art history, and Classical mythology. I live in Kansas City, MO with my family, and we enjoy weekend trips to art museums and discovering local murals together. In my free time, I love to cook, read fiction, jog in my neighborhood, and cuddle with my orange tabby cat.
